Andy and I have been doing Value Connection live on WTRV for over a year now.  30% savings on some real good stuff.  Restaurants, car washes, furniture, hair care... I buy stuff often.  30 percent of Afendoulis Cleaners, for example.  I am still surprised when someone says they've never heard of it.  9:45 every morning on 100.5 fm.

More Americans are using coupons to help manage their household budgets.  A new survey from the media and marketing company Valassis shows that coupon use is on the rise.  Just over 30-percent say they've been more conscientious about bringing coupons to the store over the past year.  A quarter note their personal economic situation has prompted them to be more diligent in clipping coupons, and most clippers are using the coupons to make their dollars go farther at the grocery store.  It's also a habit most consumers don't plan to break once the economy improves.  Three-quarters say they intend to continue being more frugal in their shopping even after the recession ends.  Nearly 30-percent will keep using coupons regardless of their financial situation because they enjoy how they feel when they see the money they've saved by using coupons.
