Guiding Light Mission Thanksgiving Dinner is This Sunday

One of the true beacons of light and hope for the hundreds of struggling people and families in our community, the Guiding Light Mission, is having their annual Thanksgiving Dinner this coming Sunday, November 24th. Sunday's Thanksgiving Dinner is really for anyone in the community.

Although all the volunteer positions have been filled, there is still a need for monetary and food donations. Donations can be made at lifeonthestreet.org or by mailing or dropping of a check at the mission, 255 S. Division Ave, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Food donations can be dropped off at the mission’s front door between the hours 8 am – 5 pm; ring the doorbell and mention you are dropping off a donation. Items still needed include turkey, spiral ham, French’s onions and dinner rolls. All donations should be dropped off by Friday, November 22.
