Whitecaps Need Your Vote for New Food

Ahhh, Spring, and the crack of the bat.  You know what I'm talking about.....Baseball, Whitecaps Baseball.  And, the season is only 5 weeks away!

Going to a Whitecaps game is always exciting because you're watching some of the top Tiger prospects play.  However, I have to fess up that my Whitecaps experience is also based on food, the good old American pastime at a ballpark, eating!

The Whitecaps have always provided unique food at Fifth Third Ballpark along with the standard ballpark fare, hotdogs, popcorn, peanuts and cracker jacks.  But the real fun is in the "unique" that's offered.  And, for the fourth year in a row they are are letting you, the fans, help choose a new food item to serve up for 2013.

There are 10 items for you to choose from.  Vote online for your favorite between now and March 5th at 5 p.m.! The winner will be announced later in March.

It's sad that only one new item will make the cut this year.  I've tried several and they're winners!

Me?  I'm going for the Spam Fries! 

That's right.....I said, SPAM FRIES!  Yum!
