
West Michigan Easter Egg Hunts — 2015
Easter is on Sunday, April 5.
However, kids don't have to wait that long to get an early taste of a chocolate bunny. There are some Easter egg hunts the weekend before Easter and some the weekend of.
Take a look at our list and have a happy Easter!
West Michigan is host to many Easter egg hunts and opportunities to meet with the Easter bunny. Plan for some good pictures and even more chocolate with our list below.
Saturday, March 28
Byron Township (Whistlestop Park, 2120 76th Street SW, Byron Center)
- For children ages 2-10. Ages 2-5 at 11 a.m. Ages 6-10 at 11:15 am. Prizes, candy and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Outdoor event. Will be moved inside to the Community Center if extreme weather occurs. Registration is not required. Event is free.
City of Kentwood (Kentwood Activities Center, 355 48th Street SE, Kentwood)
- "Pancakes with the Bunny" from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Cost: $7 at the door. All-you-can-eat pancakes. Craft project. Pictures with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Bring your own camera.
City of Walker (Walker Ice & Fitness, 4151 Remembrance Road NW, Walker)
- Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Ages 2-8. Outdoors. Get pictures with the bunny.
Saturday, April 4
Forest Hills Presbyterian Church (7495 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids)
- Easter egg hunt at 3 p.m. Ages 12 and younger. Rain or shine. Hear Easter story, then Easter egg hunt. Admission is one or two canned goods to be donated to local food pantry.
- Easter egg hunt starts at 11 a.m. For kids up to age 10. Over 5,000 Easter eggs with candy and prizes. Free.
- Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m.
- Easter Palooza. Games and lunch indoors from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Easter egg hunt outside at 1 p.m. Bounce houses. Free.
- Easter egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. For kids up to 10 years old. Candy and prizes. Free.
