Everyone's seen a movie in a theater but how many people can say they've watched a movie on a large screen on a boat?

Beginning this Friday, June 8th, "Movies on Deck" will kick off in Muskegon aboard the USS LST 393 Veteran's Museum. The boat is docked on the waterfront downtown at 560 Mart Street.

According to the website, Movies on Deck is in its 12th year and they've definitely got movies on deck planned for this summer like Lion King to start the series off the right way. Other movies planned include Rocky, Singin' In the Rain and a "people's choice" for the last scheduled night. You can see the full lineup here.

The movies are shown on a giant projection screen on the top deck and start around 10 p.m. (after sunset). However, in August showtime will be around 9:30 p.m. Snacks are available for purchase. All you have to bring is some chairs or a blanket... and hopefully, someone to snuggle with ;)
