U of M Grad Goes For The Big Win On Wheel Of Fortune

Toni Washington, originally from Detroit and a U of M graduate, will spin the big wheel on "Wheel of Fortune. " She'll appear on tonight’s episode, Friday, May 14.

Washington moved to Los Angeles in 2011  but says that her and her sister used to watch “Wheel of Fortune” many nights together while in college at U of M. Speaking with Mlive she said,

"Watching Wheel is one of our favorite sister-bonding activities."

 

Washington's sister still lives in Detroit but she said they have kept the tradition going by watching "Wheel" while talking on the phone. Washington decided to try-out for the show and did so virtually. She commented,

"Receiving the invitation to audition was especially memorable because I’ve always wanted to be on the show.”
