The Big Ten Network named Tom Izzo the Big Ten Basketball Coach of the Decade and it really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Michigan State's Tom Izzo is often considered to be one of the best college basketball coaches of all time and this last decade has only added to his long list of accolades. In the last decade, he has had 5 regular season Big Ten Championships, 4 Big Ten Tournament Championships, 2 Final Four appearances, an Elite Eight appearance, and 10 straight NCAA Tournament appearances.  And that's just in the last decade...

In his entire career, Tom Izzo has a NCAA National Championship, 9 regular season Big Ten Championships, 6 Big Ten Tournament Championships, 8 Final Four appearances, and 22 straight NCAA Tournament appearances.

No other coach in the Big Ten even comes close to this record of achievements and very few across the entire nation can match them either.

Congrats to Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans.
