‘The End of the Tour’ Releases First Trailer [Video]
The End of the Tour was filmed in Grand Rapids in 2014.
The movie is set for limited release on July 31, but it has already generated Oscar buzz at Sundance Film Festival and other premieres.
Today's trailer is the first look at The End of the Tour for the general public.
The film stars Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Segel and is the story of the travels of novelist-writer David Foster Wallace (Segel) at the end of a 1996 book tour accompanied by Rolling Stone‘s David Lipsky (Eisenberg).
Segel's performance is generating Oscar talk and the July 31 release date may be a part of a planned Oscar campaign from the filmmakers.
The first trailer was released this morning and the Grand Rapids landmarks are hard to miss.
