It's got one of the most novel demoniac curses in film history – a malevolent force that manifests as ordinary people walking towards you, purposefully and steadily and unstoppably…until they kill you. It's an unnerving, cinematically inspired idea."

"It Follows" writer/director David Robert Mitchell is a Michigan native. His first feature film, "The Myth of the American Sleepover" was shown at Cannes and SXSW. It was distributed by IFC and received solid reviews.

"It Follows" has already played at Cannes and Toronto Film Festival. The film is getting good reviews:

  • Crave Online - "evokes genuine real-life anxieties for the ultimate in audience involvement"
  • Fangoria - "incredibly evolved, joyously alive"
  • - "one of the scariest horror films in years"
