ArtPrize has taken over Grand Rapids making it a fitting time for a creative and colorful way to raise awareness and money for an important cause. "Ride the Pink Elevator" and support Susan G. Komen of Michigan.

The Pink Tie Guys is an exclusive group of men committed to raising awareness of how breast cancer impacts the total family. The group meets once per year. This year's meeting is at Reserve Wine & Food in Grand Rapids on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. - Midnight.

A group of West Michigan bikers are helping in the battle against breast cancer. This is the third year for the Bikers Against Breast Cancer Headlight Run. Proceeds from the June 8th event will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure West Michigan.

Steve Ford will be in Grand Rapids, Thursday, November 8th for the "On The Wings of Hope Survivor and Grantee Celebration" for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation celebration dinner.

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk happens this Saturday morning at Rosa Parks Circle.  Registration begins at 8am and the walk starts at 9am.  I'll be hosting the walk with Emily Richett from Fox 17 News.  We have hosted together now for the last 5 years...

Hey, the weather is going to be fantastic all weekend long, so I went digging for stuff to do outdoors. I found a good one. Two words - Roller Coasters. Actually, this lasts all through next week, and it's for a good cause. Plus, it's a chance to let off some steam by screaming your head off!
