The Unites States Coast Guard along with the help of a Good Samaritan rescued 10 people from a fast-sinking boat in Grand Traverse Bay June 19.

Around 8:30 Monday morning, a man was pulled from the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids.

Marina Tarashevsce, an animal rescue worker in Dallas, has been trying to catch a stray dog for weeks. Then the dog wouldn't stop barking last week, and she noticed he wasn't with a female dog he usually ran around with. So she and another dog trainer went to investigate.
