I'm so happy to report that Mel Trotter Ministries will be getting a new truck! Dennis Van Kampen, CEO of Mel Trotter, who was on "Andy in the Morning" discussing the urgent need for a new refrigerated truck, announced they exceeded their $34,000 goal and can now get the new truck they so desperately needed.

The Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GFIA) is celebrating the holidays this week with a music festival, Irish dancers, and a visit from Santa Claus.

Saw this last night on WZZM and wanted to share with you. Mel Trotter Ministries just opened a new day center and updated/expanded food pantry in downtown GR, right behind their headquarters on Division in a former tire warehouse. The new day center will provide an area for 100 homeless people to spend time in, instead of at businesses or parks...

The stormy weather was a challenge, but not a deal-breaker for a West Michigan golfer trying to play 36 consecutive hours for charity, Mel Trotter Ministries. This is the fourth year PGA pro Bultema has teed-off non-stop for Mel Trotter Ministries.  He wrapped up his golf marathon Wednesday night at the Railside Golf Club in Byron Center.

Today, Chuck LaTour and I will be helping Mel Trotter Ministries with their annual Golf Fund Raiser.  We each will play 18 holes with Jim Bultema, in less than 2 hours each, and I will do an auction for them with some great items to bid on...
