It's a busy weekend...from Thanksgiving Dinner, to Christmas Shopping, Christmas Parades and Lights, a Turkey Trot, Christmas Concerts, Hockey, and Basketball.
People in the Grand Rapids area can gather for a Thanksgiving meal. The dinner is for those experiencing homelessness or anyone who is looking for fellowship.
This meal is open to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, as well as anyone in the greater Grand Rapids community who is looking for fellowship.
Mel Trotter Ministries hosted their annual "Turkey Drop" Wednesday and ended up collecting double their goal, doubling the number of families they'll be able to help.
The mobile shower is aimed to help the homeless population in Grand Rapids regain their dignity by being able to clean up, which will also help them move forward, hopefully out of homelessness.
It’s a long Thanksgiving weekend for most people. We have events on Thanksgiving day and all weekend long. We have Christmas lights and traditions, a Turkey Trot, Hockey & Basketball, Music, Model Trains, and Tickets for New Year’s Eve.
