Our holiday tradition has been saved by a group of Grand Rapids business leaders! The large Christmas tree next to Rosa Parks Circle (which as of yesterday wasn't going to happen this year) will be coming back.

With 1,550 entries at over 160 venues, it's nearly impossible to see everything at ArtPrize Seven. We'll help you discover more of the artists and work at ArtPrize with a closer look at venues throughout the event. Take a look inside SiTE:LAB and GRAM at ArtPrize Seven.

ArtPrize fans will have an opportunity to hear from 2014's Grand Prize winners, Anila Quayuum Agha and Sonya Clark, as both return to Grand Rapids for special speaking engagements.

Adonna Khare won ArtPrize 2012 with "Elephants", a 36 x 8 foot pencil drawing. This Friday and Saturday, Khare will be sharing her skills as she hosts a drawing workshop at GRAM.

Stop and enjoy Anila Quayyum Agha's "Intersections" at GRAM and you may notice an audible gasp as visitors turn the corner and enter the large room that holds the piece. "Intersections" is getting strong reactions at ArtPrize.

It takes hundreds of volunteers for ArtPrize to be successful. Volunteers are still needed to work directly for ArtPrize and to help at individual venues.

Another sign of the season in Grand Rapids! The annual tree lighting ceremony is December 6 at Grand Rapids Art Museum. The lighting will be followed by the opening of ice skating at Rosa Parks Circle!

ArtPrize is intense. ArtPrize completely takes over Grand Rapids with art. Then suddenly it's over. Going cold turkey can be tough, but GRAM is making the ArtPrize offseason a little more bearable.

A special gift from Meijer has opened a new opportunity for art lovers in West Michigan. "Meijer Free Tuesdays" means everyone can enjoy free admission every Tuesday at the Grand Rapids Art Museum!

A fun-filled evening for the family is planned for November 30th to kick off the holiday season in Rosa Parks Circle. A few of downtown's most popular holiday events (the GRAM Tree Lighting, the opening of Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink, and the free horse-drawn carriage rides) will be combined to make it into an event to truly kick off the holiday season in Grand Rapids.

Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts announced today what new events and exhibits will debut at the upcoming June festival.  Festival, the largest all-volunteer event in the nation,  is June 3rd-5th, downtown GR. So what's new this year?
