You hear stories about someone being at the right place at the right time and saving someone whose choking. But I bet you've never heard a story like this.

Lansing, Michigan's Fire Department went above and beyond by saving a tea party and a family's snake who'd become trapped in a cup handle.

Found frozen to the ground, Elliot the cat is recovering thanks to a very special Christmas 'angel'.

The animals were living in "highly unsanitary conditions" according to animal control officers.

Thanks to Animal Control, Allegan Police, and the Wayland Fire Department, a horse is safe after being trapped in an icy pond.

What an incredible story! You may want to have tissues handy for this one.

There Really is a Bear Ranch in Michigan

This four-year-old pup is about to hit his 1-year mark in the Allegan County Shelter.

They brought the animals up north, so they'll have more room for rescues during the storm.

Not only was it a rescue, but good training as well.

You hear me talking about Crash's Landing on the air all the time.  If  you haven't heard of Crash's, they are a non profit animal shelter that rescues kitties off the street.  Since they are a non profit, that means in order for them to continue to care for the animals they rescue, they need to raise their own money to do that!  This is a fun event that helps raise the much needed money.
