Superhero Part Two

While we were talking about superheros on WTRV this morning, we had lots of calls regarding everyone's favorites. Remember Captain Nice and Mr. Terrific? They received votes. SNL's MiddleAge Man received votes. Now I remember. Andy and I were talking on-air about movies and how I haven't seen any of the Oscar nominated films and how I was supposed to see Green Hornet with my kids. I mentioned how Batman ruled my 4th grade neighborhood until Green Hornet debuted. We went from "pow-zowie" fighters to Kung Ku karate experts in about a week. The Green Hornet didn't do anything...no special powers at all. But Kato, now he was something. Kato ruled. Not only did he whale on all the bad guys but he looked cool and made funny noises. Loved Kato.
