A restaurant favorite in the Grand Rapids area announced that they will be closing their doors; and Sunday, December 3rd is your last day to stop by and eat there for one last time!

Earlier in the week, Crooked Goose in Walker, posted on their Facebook page that after 6 years in business they will be closing. They also announced that a new restaurant will be replacing the Crooked Goose in Spring of 2018. Hopefully you love tacos! (who doesn't?!)

Meritage Hospitality Group, the company that owns Crooked Goose, will be opening Taco Vista in its place. Taco Vista is described as a "Baja California-inspired Mexican kitchen..." The menu will be a-la-carte with made-from-scratch ingredients daily, including lots of different tacos to choose from, of course! Customers will also be able to enjoy custom tequila cocktails and beer.

The Grand Rapids Business Journal (GRBJ) says that Taco Vista will not only occupy the current space of the Crooked Goose but will expand to where Verizon Wireless used to be next door.

The layout will feature two industrial garage doors, an open kitchen and a 1960s Volkswagen van that serves as “a whimsical focal point” of the décor.

Games such as shuffle board and foosball will also be featured in the restaurant.

While Crooked Goose will officially close on Monday, December 4th the LAST day for people to stop in and have one last meal is this Sunday!

Meritage also owns the Twisted Rooster and Wheelhouse in the Grand Rapids area.
