Thousands of pictures have been taken of flooding across West Michigan and in Grand Rapids.

None of those pictures have become more famous than the 'fish in the window' picture taken along the Grand River.

Lynn Clay was taking pictures of the flood on the Grand River through the windows at Riverfront Plaza on April 20, when she got a surprise...a FISH!

It didn't take long for the picture to spread online and gain thousands of views.

The 'fish in the window' picture was the third most popular link worldwide at reddit.com on Sunday, April 21.  It also gained national attention from NBC.

Lynn Clay grabbed her camera to snap a frame of the floodwaters outside one of the windows in her office building at the Riverfront Plaza in Grand Rapids, Mich., and captured a little fish swimming by. She didn't even realize the fish was in the frame until she looked at it later and, as even the most seasoned photographer will admit, she said, "I got lucky!"

An amazing picture from a flood we will never forget.
