
Refugees Coming to West Michigan a Good Thing?
The World Affairs Council of Western Michigan is continuing their 3-part series on immigration this coming Monday, evening, April 25 with Bing Goei, Director, State of Michigan Office for New Americans speaking.
The immigration series, co-sponsored by the Kent District Library, will be at the Kentwood Branch, 4950 Breton Rd. SE, in Kentwood, 49508, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Bing Goei, will discuss the federal requirements to entering the United States as a refugee, and offer factual data on the economic costs and benefits to developing refugee and immigrant talent in Michigan.
The cost: Free to attend! Everyone is invited, no reservations are needed, and, there is free parking.
