Here's really good news. The Kent District Library branches will be opening soon!

Closed of course due the COVID19 pandemic, the KDL expanded digital checkout of all materials including movies, and conducted programs online.

Now, book drops for returning items will open Monday, June 8 with all material quarantined and cleaned before returning to the libraries. On June 15, curbside service will begin. You'll actually be able to get/touch a real book! Just place a hold online and pick it up without having to get out of your car.

And, last, but not least, the branches will finally reopen July 6! They will take extra measures to make sure all visitors and staff remain well and safe. All of the programs will remain online for the time being.

Slowly, we're beginning to get back to some sort of normal! Good job, KDL!
