The popular Reds has relocated, and I had a chance to hang out with friends, Jennifer Pasqua, WZZM, Susie Gordon, Craig Smith, COO Red Water Group, and Josh Depenbrock of GRNow.com. We toured the beautiful, 2 million dollar newly renovated space at Thousand Oaks Golf Club, and it's beautiful.

Thousand Oaks, ½ mile east of 5 mile road and the East Beltline at 4100 Thousand Oaks Drive NE, Grand Rapids 49525, is a perfect fit for Reds. It features an open, airy contemporary design, plenty of outdoor seating, and onsite parking. Reds at Thousand Oaks has more kitchen space, a spacious new bar and expansive outdoor patio with two tiers of seating, fire pits, and a covered deck with a view of the award-winning Thousand Oaks Golf Club course.

Last evening was a media preview, and I got to sample some of the fabulous food. Yum. With the move to a larger kitchen, Reds’ established menu has been expanded and includes the best of Reds and Thousand Oaks’ entrees, sandwiches, and salads, offering something for everyone. Reds’ signature items including steaks and chops with a variety of toppings, a broad selection of fish, seafood, and pastas are on the menu. However, the  new menu items include artisan pizzas, as well as, a wide variety of unique appetizers, salads, and specialty desserts made by RedWater Restaurant Group’s pastry chef. Along with an expanded food menu, Reds offers an extensive wine list – 160 bottle options and 40 glass pours – and a full liquor selection. Reds at Thousand Oaks also features 16 craft brews on tap!

Even though the Thousand Oaks Golf Club is now private as part of the Watermark group, Reds is open to the public, and it will be worth your visit.

Reds is a part of RedWater Restaurant Group, which includes Gravity Taphouse Grille, Rush Creek Bistro, FireRock Grille, Cork Wine & Grille, and Vintage Prime & Seafood. All Redwater Restaurants are located in the Greater Grand Rapids area.
