UPDATE: Mary Cumming has been located and is safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police are asking for the public's help finding 86-year old Mary Cumming of Ada.

According to a release from the Kent County Sheriff's Office, Mary was reported missing Wednesday evening after she had not arrived at an appointment she was expected to attend. Her family went to check on her at her home and she and her car were missing.

Police say Mary's phone appears to be off, but they were able to ping it, which showed her last location in Northern Kent County near U.S. 131 and 14 Mile Road. Family does not know of a reason she would be in that area.

They say Mary takes medication for her heart and may be disoriented and lost.

Mary's vehicle is described as a light silver 2004 Toyota Highlander with Michigan plate DMC7521.
