Neil deGrasse Tyson At GVSU On November 13

Astrophysicist, pop culture commentator Neil deGrasse Tyson will speak at GVSU on November 13.

Neil deGrasse Tyson regularly makes appearances on a variety of TV shows to discuss science, analyze pop culture events, and more.

Tyson has over 1.5 million Twitter followers and recently drew praise and criticism for his scientific fact-checking of the movie "Gravity".

In the wake of the "Gravity" controversy, is coming to Grand Rapids, the home of astronauts Christina Hammock, Jack Lousma, and Roger B. Chaffee a risky move?

We shall see.

Tyson will speak at GVSU's Fieldhouse in Allendale at 7:00pm on November 13.
