A mom asked her son to do a simple thing when he was confronted with an old school rotary phone (circa 1979): call her. He couldn't. Hilarity ensues. At least for Mom.

I have a feeling the kid wasn't feeling real good about himself when he failed to figure out how to dial it. But Mom was thoroughly enjoying this!

I have an old rotary at my house. I'm going to ask my kids to dial it next time they're in town. I have a good feeling they won't be able to.

And why do we still call it "dialing the phone", when there isn't a dial?
