Michigan’s Most Popular Recipe Is Kinda Weird…

Thrillist released a list of the most popular recipes for each state and Michigan's is...  (insert drumroll here)... GRAVY! Huh?  Really? Not pasties, not coney dogs?

The list was comprised from the most googled recipes by each state from January 2016 through January 2017, so it's probably not really the "most popular", just the most googled.

Michigan shares their "love" of gravy with Alabama, who also decided that a gravy recipe needed googling. Banana bread was the most searched recipe in three states, and cake, chili, and tacos were the most searched in two states.

So since our most searched recipe is gravy, what is your go to gravy recipe?
