Michigan’s Adventure Reopens With “Camp Snoopy”

It's the largest amusement park in Michigan and it's set to reopen this weekend. Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon is opening for the season on Saturday, May 29.

With the opening of the park, Michigan's Adventure will debut a new Peanuts themed "Camp Snoopy". The area will feature 5 new family rides including Woodstock Express, Camp Bus, Beagle Scout Lookout, Peanuts Trail Blazers and Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies. In this area, you will also be able to meet your favorite Peanuts characters in this part of the park.

Camille Jourden-Mark, vice president and general manager at Michigan’s Adventure told Fox 17,

"The significant expansion and imaginative theming of our children’s attractions reinforces Michigan’s Adventure as one of the region’s top destinations for families. Camp Snoopy joins our other unique attractions in providing guests with a variety of exciting opportunities for creating family memories for generations to come. We are ready to welcome back our guests for safe summer fun."

Beagle Scout Acres will offer a  large climb-and-play structure with interactive elements and places to explore. The park bids over 60 rides and attractions. For the lowest prices of the season, tickets to the park are available now. WildWater Adventure, the water park at Michigan’s adventure, opens on June 19.

According to the Michigan Adventure website, here are the changes to the parks operations from years past:

Changes from Last Season: 

• Reservations will be required for Single Day Ticketholders visiting Michigan’s Adventure. Season Passholders will not need to make reservations at this time. Currently the reservation system is open for tickets through June 18.
• Admission tickets must be purchased online and cannot be purchased at the park.
• At this time, you may only make reservations to visit Michigan's Adventure taking place through June 18. WildWater Adventure will open on June 19; reservations for WildWater Adventure will be available soon.
• Temperature checks for guests have been discontinued at the front gate.
• The health screen questionnaire will be conducted by associates at the front gate and will not be through the Michigan's Adventure mobile app.
• There will be no limitations to ride capacity.
