Men’s League Ice Hockey: The Appeal

After all these years, why would anyone stay up late in the night -- in the cold of winter -- to play men's league ice hockey with a bunch of other over-the-hill "used-to-be-somebodys?   Could be the competition.  Perhaps its the chance to relive the glory of the good old days.   Sure it is.   Or, it might be the cold beer and bull-shooting with the guys in the locker room and at the parking lot cookout.
