West Michigan will host dozens of Easter Egg hunts this weekend.

One of the largest, the John Ball Park Easter Egg Hunt, is in need of donations.

The annual event draws about 3,000 kids to John Ball Park and is organized by the Optimist Club of Grand Rapids.

WZZM reports:

The Optimist Club of Grand Rapids relies on donations of both cash and candy to keep the hunt free to families. Other donation options include clothing, including t-shirts or school uniforms, small toys and bicycles.

The Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10:15am on Saturday, April 19 at John Ball Park.
