Fast food restaurants are a staple of American culture.
Seriously, fast food restaurants, McDonalds, Burger King, Arby's, Culvers and so many more, seem to be on every street corner.
We can't get enough of the quick and easy meal. Just drive up, get your food and away you go munching away.
Well, get ready for a new restaurant in our area pretty soon. Look for Jack in the Box, the iconic California quick serve restaurant chain, to be opening 10 location in the near future, and Grand Rapids is in their sights.

Crain's Business/Grand Rapids, reported that even with the chain closing up to 200 underperforming locations, they are still gung ho to move into Michigan.
Jack in the Box has been undergoing some leadership upheaval as of late, but seems to moving forward for more growth.
The website Click on Detroit wrote that franchisee Niraj Patel just signed an agreement with Jack in the Box. Patel said they will start with a Battle Creek location followed by stores in Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Kent counties.
Click on Detroit says: "Jack in the Box is famous for their burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, breakfast, and late-night snacking options. The new locations will offer dine-in, drive-thru, and mobile ordering options and will be open 24 hours per day."
Of course, they plan to move into the Detroit area, Crain's Business/Grand Rapids reported, but there isn't any other information available.
Jack in the Box is a 70+ year-old company well know through out California and beyond. They were were the first major restaurant chain to use the two-way intercom system that we all know and love today. By developing this and focusing on drive-thru, business exploded.
Originally, Jack in the Box had a clown theme, get it, Jack in the Box, but now are more traditional looking.
Maybe the clown scared customers away! At any rate, I'm anxious to have a Jack in the Box in GR!
