One Michigan spot is getting national attention the very best summer travel destination in the entire country! It actually nabbed the No. 1 spot last year too!

USA Today and 10Best's travel editors teamed up with a panel of experts to choose 20 must-see places for a summer vacation - everything "from picturesque national parks to sleepy mountain towns to breathtakingly beautiful beaches". Then it was put up to a public vote.
Mackinac Island has done again! The Northern Michigan location has been named the No. 1 Favorite Summer Travel Destination in the U.S.
It was the only Michigan location up for the honor.
Known for its fudge and horse-drawn carriages, Mackinac Island on the shores of Lake Huron is definitely a Michigan summertime favorite.

There's Mackinac Island State Park, where you can hike, bike, kayak, and take photos of the local natural beauty, including the stunning limestone Arch Rock.
