You'd think that since Grand Rapids is known for its amazing healthcare facilities, that we would also be one of the healthiest cities in America.  According to Wallethub's latest survey of 2020's Healthiest & Unhealthiest Cities in America, we aren't even in the top 1/3rd of healthiest cities in America.

Of the 174 cities that were ranked in the survey, Grand Rapids landed as the 59th healthiest city in America.  Grand Rapids is ranked 17th in the nation in terms of healthcare, but we seriously lack in the healthy food and fitness categories, which brings down our overall rank.

Of course, Detroit shows up on the list near the bottom, ranking 165th out of the 174 cities and Detroit also boasts being the 5th worst city in terms of physical activity.
