Grand Rapids ‘Movies In The Park’ Seeks Volunteers
The first Grand Rapids 'Movie in the Park' is Friday, August 2.
It's great to have another way to enjoy summer in Grand Rapids, but it's a lot of work to make it all happen.
'Movies in the Park' is looking for volunteers.
All movies are free. Each 'Movie in the Park' night begins at 7:00pm with food and other activities at Ah-Nab-Awen Park. Movies begin at dusk. The series opens on August 2 with 'The Princess Bride'.
Here's more about what to expect, including other movies scheduled.
But it can't happen without volunteers.
Help is needed in the following areas:
- Set-up
- Greeters/Ushers
- Litter pick-up
- Info Booth/ID Check
- Raffle Ticket Sales
- Take-down
Children as young as 12 can volunteer with an adult. Learn more about volunteering.
