Free Ice Cream in Grand Rapids?
Yes, free Ice Cream on one special day for a special cause.
Country Fresh Moose Tracks Ice Cream, who doesn't love Moose Tracks, is bringing their 10,000 Scoop Challenge back to Grand Rapids. Woo-Hoo!!
It's all happening on Tuesday, August 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rosa Parks Circle. But this time, they’ll go all out and scoop more than ever before. They're going to do15,000 scoops of FREE Original Moose Tracks Ice Cream in a monster citywide ice cream social benefiting Kids’ Food Basket.
We all know Moose Tracks, right? It's Moose Tracks Fudge and peanut butter cups swirled into vanilla ice cream. Oh, yum!
Do you remember 13-years ago when the inaugural 10,000 Scoop Challenge was held here in Grand Rapids in 2010? This summer, it's coming back home from holding events all over the country to hold their 50th event to celebrate $500,000 raised for local charities across the nation.
For every scoop eaten, Moose Tracks will donate $1, with the goal of scooping 15,000 Country Fresh Moose Tracks Ice Cream cones and raising $15,000 for Kids’ Food Basket in just four hours. I know I'd be happy to help them out in a big way! Ha!
But that’s not all! Moose Tracks will be amping up the fun with face painters, giveaways, a 360-photo booth, and more!
Lots of local celebrities and volunteers will be scooping for fun and Kids Food Basket, and it is FREE!
