Free Admission for Government Employees at GRAM, Children’s Museum
The Grand Rapids Art Museum and Grand Rapids Children’s Museum announced today, that beginning immediately, they are offering free admission for furloughed federal employees and their families during the government shutdown.
To qualify, employees must present a form of federal identification. With identification, the employee will receive free admission for themselves and 3 guests.
The list of art museums offering free admission to furloughed federal employees continues to grow. See a list of museum participating across the country, including five in Michigan. Some of the art museums listed are always free.
Other local organizations offering free tickets or admission to furloughed employees include:
- Grand Rapids Symphony with either two or four tickets to any upcoming concert that is not sold out.
- Grand Rapids Civic Theatre with tickets to "And Then There Were None" which runs through January 27.
- 20 Monroe Live with tickets to four shows in February.
