The Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Foundation is hosting Noodle Fest Feb. 26, 2022 noon to 5p.m. at Sixth Street Park at 647 Monroe Ave NW, in partnership with the World of Winter festival.

They're looking for ten noodle dishes to battle it out for the title of 2022 Noodle Fest Champion. So if you're got a tasty noodle dish and you'd like to compete, you can fill out an application here. Everyone is welcome to apply - home cooks and those who work in the restaurant industry.

Each vendor will be able to keep all of their revenue from the noodle dishes they sell. For the public attending, this will be a token festival. During the event, the noodle dishes may be purchased for 5 tokens (equal to $5).

The event is a fundraiser for the annual Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival, which is coming up this year June 10-11 at Calder Plaza. Vendors will have collections boxes at their booths and guests can vote for their favorite by donating to that vendor's collection box. The vendor with the most money collected in their donation box at the end will be declared the 2022 Noodle Fest Champion!

The World of Winter Festival kicks off this week in Grand Rapids, with more than 40 unique interactive art installations and 50+ ice sculptures.
