It's always an interesting journey when you visit the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, UICA. Their eclectic  mix of fascinating exhibits and whimsical fun make it a day well spent. And, next Saturday, you can plan to spend with your whole family there.

Saturday, March 23 from 1 - 4 p.m. is Family Day at the UICA. You can discover "Or Does it Explode?" in The Galleries at UICA and see how forced migration affects millions of lives across the world. Learn about the changes many individuals and families go through while building a new life for themselves in another country.

After, visit The Studio to experiment with portrait photography. Drop-in anytime between 1 – 4 pm to use UICA's digital photo equipment and take home your own matted portrait. Activities are designed for all ages.

It's FREE with gallery admission.
