Summer has always been one of our most beloved seasons in Michigan. We're  outdoors, swimming, boating, canoeing, golfing, tennis, pickleball, and so much more.

But, boy has this heat been getting to us. I really can't remember this continuous amount of high heat and humidity. We're having so many clean air action days and dangerous heat level days.

So, even though we have a lot of good summer left to go, many of us may hoping for some relief and thinking of fall because the heat is beating us up.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT FALL WEATHER WILL BE?

Local meteorologists won't forecast that far in advance, so where do you go? THE FARMERS ALAMANC, of course!

Their fall forecast is here and they say the western states will be warmer than usual. The corners of the country, California, Florida and Maine will have very little rainfall and be warm, and Washington and Oregon will be warm and wet.

Michigan? It looks as if we will be a little cooler than normal and dry.

Daytime sunshine and cool, dry nights could mean some brilliant color this coming fall. This is usually what it takes to bring out the beautiful fall colors that we all love.
