Twelve hot air balloons will spend a full weekend in West Michigan this summer and the crews need volunteers to help!

The Hot Air Balloon Rally will be part of the Danish Festival in Greenville beginning Thursday, August 16 and ending Sunday, August 19. Four launches will take place at Klackle Orchards. Launches will be at night on Friday and Saturday, plus in the morning on Saturday and Sunday.

The Hot Air Balloon Rally will open with a demonstration at Baldwin Elementary on Thursday at 6pm.

Volunteers are always welcome. Many out-of-town balloon teams are short-staffed and need help. Anyone interested in helping should attend the demonstration at Baldwin Elementary on Thursday at 6pm.

Another highlight will be Greenville Glows at Klackle Orchards on Saturday, August 18 at 9pm.

All launches require cooperative weather, but with multiple chances to launch, there should be plenty of opportunities to see the balloons take flight.
