It's Battle Creek's Field of Flight Airshow and it's currently in the running for best airshow in the U.S.!

Field of Flight is up against 19 other airshows in USA Today and 10 Best's Readers Choice "Favorite Air Show in North America" Poll. A panel of experts chooses the top 20, and now it's up to a public vote.

Battle Creek Field of Flight is an air show and balloon festival all rolled into one. It's five days long and spectators can enjoy shows of military and civilian aircraft, fireworks, concerts, beer tents, and more.

 

You can vote for Field of Flight once per day here until voting ends April 29 at noon.

The Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival is July 3 through 7, 2024 at the Battle Creek Executive Airport.

A tentative schedule has been released.

July 3 is Community Kick Off Day - all vendors are open, take in the Skerbeck Carnival, Guinness World Record Holder David "The Bullet" Smith will be shot out of a cannon, and at 7p.m. is the hot air balloon launch.

July 4 the airshow portion kicks off with the US Air Force Thunderbirds Demonstration Team, US Navy F-18 Super Hornet Rhino Team Team, US Air Force A-10 Thunderbirds Demonstration Team, Franklin's Flying Circus, Hot Streak Jet Truck, and more.
