While most people enjoyed a typical Labor Day Weekend, four tornadoes touched down in Michigan bringing damage to others.

According to WOOD TV, officials have confirmed four tornadoes touched down in the Lower Peninsula. Reports say that many trees were knocked down and several buildings were damaged.

The good news is there was not one single injury from any of the storms.

The National Weather Service announced that one of the tornadoes that hit Michigan Saturday was in Clinton County's Bath Township. The NWS said the tornado was only on the ground for around 10 minutes, carried 80 mile per hour winds and left a path of damaged trees for about 4 miles.

Other counties that had confirmed touch downs from tornadoes were Barry, Jackson and Mecosta.

Northern Michigan was hit with severe weather last week, leaving tens of thousands without power and causing only limited damage. The weather service announced that Arenac County had two tornadoes.
