The West Michigan Chalk Art Festival brought children, artists and spectators to Byron Center on Friday and Saturday for the sixth annual event.

The festival started on Friday with adult artists creating work for the competition. On Saturday, kids were provided with free chalk and others finished their entries before the event wrapped up on Saturday night.

Artists competed in categories of adult, youth, and family/team at the West Michigan Chalk Art Festival. Entries were judged and cash prizes were awarded on Saturday night.
