Big money raised for local charities in Holland on Sunday for the 18th annual Lakeshore Blessing of the Bikes.

According to WOOD, Holland was filled with hundreds of motorcycles over the weekend for the blessing of the bikes that raised nearly $185,000 for a couple of charities. One being a Grant Me Hope which helps older foster children find homes and the other was the Kids' Food Basket of Holland.

The bike events chair person, John Gutierrez said, "For Me, I think the key is we're raising money for charity. That's what we started this for in the beginning, was to help raise funds for local charities."

The Ottawa County Fairgrounds did have some snow to start the day but it melted and needless to say it didn't stop bikers from making the trek.

Sounds like a pretty amazing day.
