Zeus the dog came calling today.

Zeus visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Nicole, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Zeus into the studios.

Zeus is a 1-year old, chihuahua/dachshund mixed-breed dog that needs a good, loving home. Zeus is full of love and energy. He loves to play and be around people. He would make any home a wonderful addition.

Chihuahuas are alert dogs with terrier-like qualities. They are good with families if the children are gentle and patient. Because of their small size, they require little exercise and are good city dogs. As for a Dachshund, his upbeat, curious, and friendly nature is contagious. Thus, the blend of the two breeds means you're getting a wonderful addition for you and your family

Nicole said that there is a dog special going on today and tomorrow. All dogs, regardless of size, are only $50! So, once you pass the adoption process, you'll have a wonderful dog. Don't forget, that is today and tomorrow only, May 20 and 21.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
