Starting out as a weatherman/TV-Radio host for TV8 in the 70′s, Andy also played “Captain Woody” on the TV8 afternoon kids show, and probably is the most recognized personality in the West Michigan area having been on radio and TV for the better part of three decades.

"Disney Live! Presents Three Classic Fairy Tales,"is coming to Grand Rapids this Sunday.
It's something for the whole family, and a one-day-only show with two performances at 1:30 and 4:30.
The show takes us through the classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast

Cabela's Incorporated announced this morning that a new 88,000 square-foot store is coming to the Grand Rapids area. Actually, our news partner WZZM 13 says Cabela's will build their new store at the east end of the Rivertown Mall corridor at 44th and Ivanrest.
This is great news for the area since we all thought that there might be one going up in Walker. It seemed at the time that the Walker people played a little "hard ball," and the deal fell through. Whatever happened here, it was a winner.
