Whitecaps Fifth Third Ballpark Re-build is Nearly Finished

The rebuilding of Fifth Third Ballpark is nearly finished a few weeks ahead of schedule.

We all remember the devastating January fire that heavily damaged the ballpark and destroyed the first base concourse. But, our news partner, WZZM TV13, reports the Whitecaps, along with super work crews were able to pull together and get the work finished earlier than expected.

Last Wednesday night, fans were able to use the brand new right-field suites.

Because of the damage, the Whitecaps were able to reconfigure the suites and reduced the number from 12 to nine. That includes a super suite at the end, which is the size of three.

Also good news, the Ice Cream station is now open, better than ever.  Thank God! You can't have baseball without Ice Cream!

Get out to a ball game at Fifth Third.  It's the best game in town!
