Last month, we asked for your help to gather food and non-perishable items for West Michigan families in need during the "Food For Families" food drive.
Your response was amazing. Now, some more good news, your donations are on their way to those in need.
Erhardt Construction is celebrating their 50th anniversary by giving away $45,000 towards a construction or renovation project. The winner will be a non-profit organization from Ottawa County or Kent County.
The winner will be decided by online voting open to the public.
A, fun, major fund raiser for Easter Seals Michigan is next Wednesday, June 13, at the John Ball Zoo. It's "Walk With Me" and is a nearly 2-mile walk that will wrap around the park and go through the zoo.
It's a wonderful opportunity for donors and supporters to meet the people Easter Seals serve, while taking a nice walk and enjoying the Zoo.
The Kettle Campaign of the Salvation Army has only a few day remaining to reach their goal of $1.6 million dollars. Dollars so urgently need in West Michigan to help the homeless, hungry and those in need.
It's always nice to give some recognition to a local company who believes and reinvests in our community. Art Van is that company!
