Summer Arts Scholarships Available From LowellArts!

Are you a high school senior thinking about a future career in the arts or a student interested in a summer arts learning experience? If so, LowellArts! may have a scholarship opportunity just for you.

How cool is this.  The arts organization will provide scholarship awards from four scholarship programs each year. (In 2012, they provided a total of $1,600 in scholarships!) Funds for these scholarships have been provided by family and friends honoring loved ones active in the arts and by art patrons wanting to further the arts through our young people.

LowellArts! scholarship awards are made based on a competitive process which considers academic achievement, extracurricular activities, a statement of the applicant’s personal aspirations and goals, and financial need. They are available in all areas of the arts including fine art, theatre, music and dance. Scholarship awards are made at the discretion of the scholarship committee’s recommendations. All awards are made without regard to race, creed, color, gender, religion, or national origin. Awards vary in size depending on the amount of income available in each particular scholarship fund.
