While she has enjoyed a long and very successful solo career, Stevie Nicks first became known as a member of the band Fleetwood Mac (which she joined in 1975.)

Nicks' solo career began while she was still a member of Fleetwood Mac. She released her first solo album, Bella Donna, in 1981.

Nicks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with her bandmates from Fleetwood Mac in 1998. In 2019, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a solo artist - making her the first woman to ever be accepted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.
