Outstanding Service Providers “Wave Award” Nominations are now Open

Experience Grand Rapids and the Kent County Lodging Association have opened the 6th Annual WAVE Award nominations.

The annual awards program recognizes outstanding service providers in the Grand Rapids and Kent County hospitality industry.

Our news partner, WZZM TV13 reports that the nominations will be accepted from employers and guests now thru Oct.7, 2013. One award will be presented in each of the following categories: Transportation, Retail & Service, Attractions/Events, and Nightlife. New categories to the 2013 awards program include: Restaurants/Breweries, Lodging, and Volunteer in Hospitality.

The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and recognized at the Impacting Hospitality Celebration on Nov. 21, 2013 in conjunction with the International Wine, Beer & Food Festival.

Multiple sponsorships are available. Award sponsors will become the official presenters of each of the eight WAVE Awards. One event sponsor will support the Impacting Hospitality Celebration. All sponsors will receive recognition at the ceremony, logo placement on the WAVE Awards website, and tickets to the ceremony.
