Think you've seen it all at ArtPrize?

You're not even close.

Susana Cook's "Nuns on Ramp" will make sure of that.

By now you know that SiTE:LAB is a must-stop at ArtPrize each year. ArtPrize Eight is no different. "Nuns on a Ramp" is one of many entries at Rumsey Street that will remember long after visiting.

The piece is described on the artist's ArtPrize page as "a highly ritualistic experience inspired by "Hybrid Structures", a piece created by Paul Amenta and Alois Kronschlaeger in the site of the old church at Rumsey Street."

Susana Cook was born in Argentina and is now a New York-based performance artist. She has been writing and producing for over 20 years and has shown over 17 original plays.

Watch for performances nightly at 7PM and 9PM throughout ArtPrize. Performers includes residents and artists from Grand Rapids, students from GVSU's Department of Art & Design and students from Kendall College of Art and Design.
